Coordination of Parents in Bavaria

The idea of creating a coordination Parents born in Bavaria around a table on the evening of 12 December 2008, following several meetings and an intensive exchange of email with the issue of continuation of the supplementary language courses for Italian children in Bavaria.

Neli recent years, the Bavarian state had in fact done burden of organizing the famous Muttersprache Ergaenzungsunterricht for tutti i bambini con Migrationsintergrund residenti sul proprio territorio.

In exchange, the government allocates in December 2008 675 million for military, an increase of 30% compared to 2008.

The mobilization of the parents was spontaneous and immediate. There were many collections of signatures and organized the meeting "to learn more." The conference organized by

Comites of Monaco of Bavaria November 22, although the issues discussed were of various sizes, was an important opportunity for discussion and meeting between parents and with different players, which allowed a better understanding of the state of affairs.

For example, we knew that at that meeting of the Consulate Monaco had already moved well ahead to ensure, together with the management bodies and Comites, the continuation of free (or nearly free) for pupils of the same.

Caritas Monaco provides, in its role as management entity, tools and personnel needed to prosecuzone courses in the new role. The Consulate is already worried about the training of teachers and of course programming.

The cost of the new courses should not exceed 40 € per year per pupil, and there are additional discounts for families with special needs.

verified the timeliness of the action and the good will of the actors, everything at this point depends on the MFA (Ministry of Foreign Foreign) and how you can invest in this important project.

Coordination of parents in Bavaria, is proposed as a communication platform to disseminate in an efficient and transparent information so far gathered and to give all parents the opportunity to get in touch with those who have already mobilized.

A strong voice is increasingly common and influential voices of many uncoordinated and that is why we want to work together for the good of our children!

The Italian language in the world? But no.

http://www.italotedesco.it/blog/?p=40

This weekend I met a dear friend who lives in Germany and, among other things, by some courses di lingua italiana nelle scuole tedesche. More clearly than that I think is difficult to express interest, appreciation and respect for our country.

Beyond sympathy and passion linguistic and cultural, it is evident that the courses organized in this way - in German schools and open to all, regardless of country of origin - are a major investment with implications in the medium and long-term social but also economic. As far as children with migrant backgrounds, scholars of the phenomena of multilingualism are in fact essentially agree that a good knowledge of language (what is sometimes called the "first language of identity") produce positive effects on learning of the country. The problem of understanding the language of the "host" (the second language of identity) by the small citizens "foreigners" then it is resolved, integrating and supporting multilingualism, and not, as some would have done criminally in Italy, establishing classes separate and differential.

But as stated, courses are not something "cooked and eaten" among migrants, but also provide for the participation of children in Germany. In this way the Germans have offered their pupils and students preparing a multilingual (and multicultural) articulate, rich, that in a labor market that increasingly requires the movement in most European countries if not the world, is an undeniable extra card in the competition with the future leaders of other countries. In other words, integrate the languages and cultures becomes an advantage when you consider the economic, with a minimum of foresight, and has little to do with a supposed feel-good multiculturalism.

Italy, to return to the courses of my friend, has so far participated in the organization and implementation of these courses through the financial support received annually by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. It was always treated with very low figures (in 2008, something around 30 million, bazzeccole when compared with other European countries how much they spend to promote their own language in the world) but in any event, also drawing on our proverbial art of getting by, but has permission to do something.

Next year, unfortunately, this did little to Italy, is in danger of disappearing. Indeed, according to the Budget currently under discussion, the process of disintegration of the state carried out by Berlusconi, Tremonti e Bossi will also clean sweep of these small but valuable experience. The Germans will be surprised when in January - and then fully manages school year under way - someone will explain to them that the Italian government will co-fund more classes. Povera patria.
